# Writing & suggestions

The AI writing layer drafts, rewrites, shortens and adds emojis to your messages, suggests campaigns, and translates text fields across the panel — all in your brand's voice. This page covers where it appears in the panel, exactly what it does, and the ten languages it translates to.

The writing layer is the AI that helps you **write the message**: it can draft
one from scratch, rewrite and improve what you have, make it shorter, add or
remove emojis and change its tone. It writes in your brand's voice, because it
reads your [brand profile](/platform/en/project-settings/brand-profile). You'll
meet it in two places: the message editor and the AI button on text fields across
the panel. Translation into other languages comes from that **AI button on text
fields** (see below).

## In the message editor

When you write a campaign, the message card's toolbar carries an **AI Assistant**
button. What it offers depends on whether you've written anything yet:

- **Empty editor** — the button is a direct shortcut to **AI Copy Writer**, which
drafts a message from scratch from a short description.
- **With text already** — the button opens a menu with two entries:
  - **AI Copy Writer** — drafts a fresh message from a short description.
  - **AI Copy Enhancer** — rewrites and improves the message you already have.

Both open as a panel next to the editor, and each returns a few versions for you
to pick from — nothing replaces your text until you choose a version.

### AI Copy Enhancer

**AI Copy Enhancer** is the broadest tool. It leads with a row of primary
actions, and tucks the rest behind an **Other options** menu:

- **Primary actions:** **Enhance**, **Simplify**, **Shorten**, **Add Emojis** and
  **Alternatives**.
- **Other options** groups the less common rewrites:
  - **Charset / Special characters** — **Remove Emojis**, and **Simplify to
GSM-7**, which rewrites the message to avoid Unicode characters so an SMS
stays within the 160-character single-part limit (see
    [SMS essentials](/platform/en/channels/sms/sms-essentials)).
  - **Change tone** — rewrites in a chosen tone: **Funny**, **Friendly**,
    **Bold**, **Persuasive**, **Formal** or **Urgent**.
  - **Other options** — **Creative Remixer** (a freer, more playful rewrite),
    **Alternative CTAs** and **More detailed**.

So **Shorten** and **Add Emojis** live inside AI Copy Enhancer — they're not
separate buttons on the editor toolbar.

## On text fields across the panel

Beyond the campaign editor, many text fields in the panel carry an **AI button**
of their own — for example, a project description or a sender's questionnaire. It
offers three actions:

- **Translate** — translate the field's text into another language.
- **Auto-generate** — generate suitable text for the field automatically.
- **Ask AI** — describe the change you want in your own words (a prompt box with
the placeholder *Describe what you want…*) and the AI rewrites accordingly.

After any AI change, a **Revert** control lets you undo the last AI edit for a
short while, so you can compare the result against what you had.

## Campaign suggestions

Alongside the editor tools, Instasent can also suggest **whole campaigns** —
generic or seasonal ideas — with the copy already drafted in your brand's voice.
They're a starting point: pick one and take it into the editor to adjust before
sending.

## Translation languages

The **Translate** action on the panel's text fields offers a fixed set of **ten
target languages**:

| Language | |
| --------- | ---------- |
| English | Italiano |
| Español | Nederlands |
| Français | Polski |
| Deutsch | Türkçe |
| Português | العربية |

You don't have to set the source language: Instasent detects the language of your
text automatically. When you translate within a project, the translation also
follows your brand's voice and tone.

## What guides the writing

Every writing tool leans on your **brand profile** to match your voice: the same
draft reads differently for a playful brand and a formal one, because the AI
reads the tone, example phrases and guidelines you set there. Keeping the brand
profile complete is what makes the output sound like you — it's configured in
[Brand profile](/platform/en/project-settings/brand-profile), and this layer only
reads it.

> **Note**: AI writing is available across plans. {/* VERIFY — confirmar si la IA de redacción tiene algún gating por plan o límite de uso comunicable al cliente (los endpoints están rate-limited y hay niveles de modelo internos; ¿hay restricción de cara al cliente?) */}

Once your message is ready, take it through the rest of the editor in
[Creating a campaign](/platform/en/campaigns/creating-a-campaign).
