# Managing campaigns

Find, clone, edit, cancel and delete your campaigns from the campaigns list. Which actions are available depends on the campaign's stage.

The **campaigns list** is where you find and act on every campaign. What you can do to
a given campaign depends on its **stage** — a draft can be edited and deleted, a sent
one can only be viewed or cloned.

## Finding a campaign

The list shows each campaign with its status, channel, sender, date and key metrics.
To narrow it down:

- **Search** by name.
- **Filter** by channel, sender or status.
- Switch between the **table** view and a **calendar** view of scheduled sends.
- **Sort** the table by clicking a column header (click again to reverse the
  order), and show, hide or reorder **columns** to keep the metrics you care
  about in view.

Above the table, a summary of your recent performance — campaigns sent, messages,
delivery rate and CTR over the selected period — sits over the campaigns
themselves, each row showing the channels it sent through:

## What you can do, by stage

To see the available actions, open the **three-dot menu (···)** to the right of each
campaign; the same actions also appear in its detail view:

| **Edit**            | Draft, and also Scheduled or Preparing (see below) |
| **Cancel campaign** | Scheduled or Sending                               |
| **Resume campaign** | Unpaid, after topping up your balance              |
| **Delete**          | Draft only                                         |

## Acting on several campaigns at once

Tick the **checkboxes** on the left of the rows to select several campaigns and
act on them together. Two bulk actions are available — **Clone** and **Delete** —
and both respect the same per-campaign rules as the single-campaign menu:

- **Clone** copies each selected campaign into a new draft. You can clone up to
  **3** at a time.
- **Delete** removes each selected campaign, and only ever applies to campaigns
  that can be deleted (drafts). You can delete up to **5** at a time.

If your selection mixes eligible and non-eligible campaigns, the action still
runs on the eligible ones and skips the rest — the button label shows how many
qualify (for example, *Delete (2 of 4)*). If none of the selected campaigns
qualify for an action, that action is disabled, and so is it once your selection
goes over the limit.

## Editing a scheduled campaign

The **Edit** option isn't available only on drafts: it also appears on **Scheduled** or
**Preparing** campaigns, though in those states you have to cancel the schedule or the
preparation first. What's exclusive to a **Draft** is *free* editing: you change anything
directly. A scheduled or preparing campaign already has its messages
built, so editing it can't be silent — opening the editor uses **Cancel schedule and
edit campaign**: the campaign returns to **Draft**, its prepared messages and tracking links are
cleared, and you can change the message or the audience and schedule it again. (Preparing
the send again can take a few minutes for a large audience.) The build steps are in

## Cancelling a campaign

Cancelling is available once a campaign is scheduled or sending, and it's **not
reversible** — a canceled campaign stays canceled.

- **Scheduled** (not started yet) — the send is called off; nothing goes out and nothing
  is charged.
- **Sending** (in flight) — the remaining messages are stopped. Messages already sent
  still count and are billed; the rest are not.

## Cloning a campaign

**Clone campaign** copies a campaign's message, channel and sender, audience and delivery
settings into a **new draft** — without its schedule or its results. It's the quickest
way to run a similar campaign again or to branch from one that worked: clone it, adjust,
and send.

## Deleting a campaign

**Delete** is only available for **drafts** (campaigns that haven't started sending). It
removes the campaign and everything configured in it — *all configured data will be
lost* — and can't be undone. Campaigns that have sent, or been canceled, stay in the
list as read-only records; there's no separate archive.

## Resuming after Unpaid

If a send runs out of balance mid-way, the campaign pauses as **Unpaid**. Top up your
balance and **Resume campaign** to send the remaining messages. The states a campaign moves
