The **agent profile** is your brand's verified identity on RCS: the name, logo,
color and contact details the user sees in their messaging app when your message
arrives. It's what turns a send into a conversation with a recognizable business,
not with a number. This data is configured **inside each country's registration** —
the registration process itself is in
[RCS senders & verification](/platform/en/channels/rcs/senders-verification).

You configure it country by country so you can adapt the name, description, contact
details and the rest of the profile to the **local language and market**. Google's
best practices recommend setting up each agent in the language of the country where
it will operate — which is why you complete this information in every registration.

In short: here you define every field of the profile, and a live preview shows you
the result before anyone else sees it.

## Configuring the agent profile

You edit the agent profile on the tab of the same name, **Agent Profile**, during
the RCS agent registration for a country, with a live preview alongside — every
change shows up instantly on a simulated phone. Each field has its own concrete
specifications: character limits, accepted image formats, and maximum dimensions or
file size. The editor's preview has two views you switch between, **Agent preview**
and **Conversation preview**, so you can check both the agent info page and a live
chat as you type.

Every field described below will be visible to the end user on their device, except
the brand's **responsible contacts**, which are requested only for verification and
are not part of the public profile.

| Field | What it defines | Limits |
| ---------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **Name** | The brand name shown in the conversation and the inbox. | Up to 40 characters |
| **Description** | A short line about your brand, shown on the agent info page. | Up to 100 characters |
| **Color** | Your brand color, applied to the conversation accents. | Hex code (`#RRGGBB`) |
| **Logo URL** | Your avatar in the chat — displayed cropped as a circle. | PNG or JPEG, max 50 KB, 224×224 px |
| **Banner URL** | The header image of the agent info page. | PNG or JPEG, max 200 KB, 1440×448 px |
| **Phones**, **Websites**, **Emails** | Contact entries that appear as action buttons on your verified profile. | Up to 3 of each; each needs a label and a value |
| **Privacy policy**, **Terms of service** | The legal links of your verified profile. | Both URLs required |

> **Note**: Don't have your brand color as a hex code? The color picker includes a palette
> of tones to pick from, and the preview updates as you try them.

## Upload and crop your images

You don't need to prepare pixel-perfect images in advance. Upload any larger image
with **Upload image** and the built-in cropper lets you frame it — it exports at
exactly **224×224 px** for the logo and **1440×448 px** for the banner, so the
dimensions always come out right. Keep an eye on the weight limits: up to
**50 KB** for the logo and **200 KB** for the banner.

> **Tip**: The logo is displayed as a small circle in the conversation. A simple,
> high-contrast mark survives the crop better than a logotype with text — more
> advice in [RCS agent best practices](/platform/en/channels/rcs/agent-best-practices).

## Available previews

The previews show how the **end user** will see your agent, not the person setting
up the campaign. The **info preview** reproduces your brand's public profile, and
the **conversation preview** shows how the agent appears inside the end user's chat.
When you register the country, the preview goes further and shows your brand across
**four screens**, so you can check it at every moment of the experience — from the
notification that lands to the full agent info page:

![Preview of the verified agent info page with banner, logo, description, contact buttons and legal links](/platform/en/channels/images/agent-profile--2-preview-agent-info.png)
*The agent info page: banner, logo, description, your contact buttons and the privacy and terms links — your brand's verified storefront inside the messaging app.*

![Preview of the incoming notification carrying the agent's logo](/platform/en/channels/images/agent-profile--4-preview-notification.png)
*The notification: your message arrives with your logo and name — your brand shows before it's even opened.*

![Preview of the message inbox with the agent as the sender](/platform/en/channels/images/agent-profile--5-preview-inbox.png)
*In the inbox, your contacts see your brand by name — not a number.*

![Preview of the conversation with the verified brand in the chat header](/platform/en/channels/images/agent-profile--3-preview-conversation.png)
*The conversation: your name, logo and verification badge build trust before a single word is read.*

Review these previews carefully: what you see is what gets reviewed and approved.
During the testing phase you can still send tests and fix the profile, but **once
the RCS agent is deployed you can't freely change it**. Before deploying, check the
name, logo, banner, description, color, contact details, privacy policy and terms
and conditions.

## Next steps

With the profile ready, complete the organization and compliance data and submit
the registration — the full process is in
[RCS senders & verification](/platform/en/channels/rcs/senders-verification). And
before you submit, run through
[RCS agent best practices](/platform/en/channels/rcs/agent-best-practices) to get
approved the first time.
