Your organization can have as many teammates as you need, and each one comes in with a role that decides what they can see and do: someone on marketing creates campaigns, someone on billing manages the balance, and so on for each area. You do it all from one screen — **Team & Security** — where you invite new members, adjust their roles and require two-step authentication for the whole team.

## Where to find it

Open **Settings**, then **Team & Security** (`Settings > Team & Security`). The list shows each member with their email, status (active or pending) and roles, and lets you filter by name or email.

## Inviting a teammate

#### 1. Open the invite dialog

Click **Invite Teammate** above the member list. The **Add Teammate** dialog opens.

#### 2. Enter the email and pick the roles

Type the person's email and select one or more roles for them. A member can hold several roles at once.

#### 3. Send the invite

The invite is emailed to that address. The member appears in the list as **pending** until they accept.

You can resend a pending invitation, change a member's roles, or remove a member at any time from the list.

## Roles

A role is a bundle of permissions: it defines what a person can touch inside the organization. The roles are fixed — you assign them, you don't define them — and a member can combine several when they need more than one area.

| Role | What it allows |
| --------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner** | The organization owner. Full control over everything, including the other roles. |
| **Full access** | Full administrator. Can create and delete projects, and manage the whole organization. |
| **Profile** | Manage the organization profile and its members (the team). |
| **Marketing** | Work inside marketing projects: add data sources, create campaigns, edit contacts and send messages. |
| **Billing** | Manage the organization's billing and add funds. |
| **Viewer** | Read-only access to view projects. Does not include editing contacts, creating campaigns or sending messages. |

> **Note**: **Keep in mind:** **Full access** and **Profile** can manage the team; **Marketing** operates inside projects; **Billing** handles funds and invoices; **Viewer** only looks. Combine roles when someone needs more than one area — for example **Marketing** plus **Billing**.

## Requiring two-step authentication

From the same screen you can **require two-step authentication for your team**. When enabled, any member who doesn't already have two-step authentication is asked to enable it the next time they sign in. Each member sets up their own method from [Security](/platform/en/profile/security) in their profile.

> **Warning**: **Important:** once required, at least one two-step method must stay enabled on every account in the organization. A member can't fully turn it off while the requirement is active.

To set up your own personal account, security and notifications, see your [Profile](/platform/en/profile/account).
