What this country needs
SMS

- Without an approved registration — Messages still go out and are still billed, but delivery is best-effort: the operator may change your sender or filter the message.
RCS

- Who acts — You sign the paperwork and return it to us.
- Have this ready — Consent evidence tied to the phone number, with the acceptance text visible; A public URL or screenshot of the exact step where the number is requested; A named contact who watches their inbox during the review
- Without an approved registration — Nothing is sent to this country until the registration is approved.

If the number is requested at a step after initial signup, provide a public URL or a screenshot of that exact step, showing the phone field and the consent text.
The operator may require the agent to accept STOP and send an opt-out confirmation, including
on certain OTP agents. We confirm and configure the applicable flow.
The named contact may receive an approval email from the operator — particularly with Jio — and will have to complete the authorisation it asks for. Watch the inbox and the spam folder during the review.
