Security
Secure your personal account: two-step authentication (authenticator app, SMS or email) and your active sessions. This page covers the available methods and how to close all sessions.
Security protects your personal account: you add a second check at sign-in and control where you're signed in. Your password is changed from Account.
Where to find it
Open Settings, then Security (Settings > Profile > Security).
Two-step authentication
Two-step authentication adds a second check at sign-in. Three methods are available:
| Method | How it works |
|---|---|
| Authenticator APP | A one-time code from an authenticator app (such as Google Authenticator or Authy). Scan the QR code, then enter the 6-digit code to confirm. |
| SMS | A one-time code sent by SMS to your phone. |
| A one-time code sent to your email. |
If your organization requires two-step authentication, at least one method must stay enabled on your account.
Active sessions
The same screen lists where you're signed in and lets you close all active sessions at once — useful if you've signed in on a shared or lost device.
